Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. She is involved with many local organizations in both teaching and performer, because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
