Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His work has led to major international progress into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN The First Long-Player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year he joined Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he debuted his second album charting Dopamina and co-wrote Mala Influencia together with Noriel. Later in 2021 he was featured performing a duet TINI on her smash streaming song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 was when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a household of music His mother and brother also are musicians. In interviews he has described playing music as an obligation. When he was young, he taught how to perform on the piano, saxophone and guitar. While his initial goal was becoming a veterinarian his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons with the famous Cuban.
