Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing the roles he played in TV series such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. After appearances in a variety of teen films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character The Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films of graphic novels and comics such as TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition in the role of Steve Rogers as Captain America. It was a part of Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also appeared in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015.
