Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is an American singer, actress and song writer. She is most famous for her roles as Lucy in the musical 13 as well as Jade West in the Nickelodeon sictom Victorious. She began her career as a commercial actress. In 2007, she debuted on TV with The Black Donnellys. Between 2010 and 2013, she was Jade West in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious. Her most prominent role was on the comedy series on FX, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015). Elizabeth Egan Gillies is a New Jersey native who was born on June 26, 1993. Her family resides in Haworth. She acted in several films as an actress in her younger years, including Babel (2006) as well as The Curious Cas of Benjamin Button (2008 and Phoebe in Wonderland (8). In 2010, she received a nomination for the Critics Choice Movie Awards for the best young actress due to her part in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. She was awarded a Spotlight Award by the Hollywood Film Festival in 2011 for playing the main character for the character of Super 8. After playing the titular role in We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she also played in the role of Princess Aurora as well in Maleficent and Maleficent The Mistress of Evil.
